Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
It has been a little over a month since my transplant and thank God (and all of your prayers ans support) all is going well. My body strength is getting better from week to week and my blood counts are now at the low end of normal : )
The doctor keeps reminding me that my immune system is at the baby stage - so, be patient: things will get back to normal in due time.
'Yall know me, I'm anxious ; )
Here is also a quick hello from a young sparrow that came by to visit me one day while I was sitting outside at City of Hope between appointments.
To me, another positive sign of God's grace. A sign of new life and a comfort to the soul... for - as the song/saying goes: His eye is on the sparrow He is sure to watch over you.
